mestalla

The current Valencia CF stadium is Mestalla, located among the Aragon Avenue and the Sweden Avenue in the city of Valencia.

A few years ago the club decided to change their stadium, as Mestalla has been used since its opening in 1,923. The new Valencia Stadium has no official name, but it is commonly known as Nou Mestalla (New Mestalla). Its construction began in August 2007, and the stadium was supposed to be totally built in the summer of 2009. However, the works of the Nou Mestalla have not already been finished, so the stadium is still far from being inaugurated.

What will the Nou Mestalla, the new Valencia Stadium, offer?

Capacity for 75,100 spectators

132 private boxes

Grandstand for 1,500 spectators

Honor hall for 150 people

Restaurant of 3,000 m2 with pitch views.

The new Valencia CF Stadium is supposed to become one of the newest and most innovative football stadiums in Europe. For the time being, though, we still have to wait until the end of its construction.
